What is the capacity of the Barn? |
The Barn is comfortable for inside seating for up to 150-180 guests. There are several nearby outside areas that are perfect for adding a tent or tables for additional seating. |
How big is the venue? |
We have a 60'x40' (2400 sq. ft). open floor plan Tobacco Barn. There is a 30'x50' (1500 sq. ft.) covered pavilion/patio. The farm is 150 acres. There are numerous outdoor locations for a ceremony. We also have a cottage for the bridal party to dress and relax. It has air conditioning/heat and full bath. |
What is the pricing for renting the Barn? |
Pricing varies. It depends on the number of days/hours your require for your event. Please call with details for your special event price quote. |
Are any discounts offered? |
We do offer discounts and specials from time to time. Currently we offer a 10% discount to Military, first responders, medical, and teachers. Please contact us if you have any questions. |
When are payments due? |
Half of the rental fee is due at the time the contract is signed. The balance is due 60 days prior to your event. |
Can alcohol be available at my event? |
Yes. We strongly recommend the event hosts ensure guests have designated drivers as needed. Alcohol must not be available to anyone under legal age. |
Do we require insurance? |
Yes. We require Special Event Insurance to cover the day of your event. It is easy to obtain the $1,000,000 of required minimum coverage online or from your homeowners insurance. The following companies were listed by Brides.com as the 7 best wedding insurance policies of 2021:

May we visit the Barn with family and vendors? |
Yes. We allow up to three visits for family or for planning purposes, but please coordinate the appointments with us so that we can be ready for your visit. |
How do we coordinate rental delivery and pickup? |
We will handle that for you. We will coordinate with your rental company to take delivery before you arrive to set up, if required. We will also coordinate the pickup after your event. Just be sure to provide us with the required information to do so. |
Can we take engagement photos at the Barn? |
Yes! We love for our couples to come out for photos. Please just contact us to find a time. |
How much time do I have to prepare and host my event? |
Since we are currently hosting only one event per weekend you will have ample time to set up. Music must end by 11:00 p.m. and all guests must exit by 11:30 p.m.. You will have until 3:00 p.m. on Sunday to complete clean up. |
Is the Barn heated and air conditioned? |
No. It is a former working tobacco barn that is quite comfortable for spring and fall events. The barn maintains its timeless charm so the temperature is determined by the weather that day. Fans and cooling units can be made available for an additional fee in the event of an unusually hot day, advance notice required. The bridal suite is air conditioned. |
Does the Barn have indoor restrooms? |
No. There are no restrooms at the barn, however there is a list of restroom providers on our vendors page. There is a restroom in the Bridal Suite cabin for the Bridal Party only. |
Do you provide tables, chairs and linens? |
We provide five 72" round tables, sixteen 60" round tables and 100 chairs. You provide the rest. |
May I return the day after the event to remove my personal items? |
Yes. All personal items and decor must be removed by 3:00 p.m. the day after your event, and we can coordinate the pickup if needed. |
Do you allow outside catering? |
Yes. We welcome the insured and full-service caterer of your choice. All trash must be bagged and disposed of in designated location. We will take care of trash removal. |
Can the driveway accommodate an RV or Bus? |
Yes. We can accommodate an RV, bus, and long limos. |
Are there any further restrictions? |
The contract will detail all requirements & restrictions, which includes: * No open flames or smoking indoors * No fireworks * No glitter or confetti * Music must end by 11:00 p.m. and guests exit by 11:30 p.m. * Catering staff must complete clean up by midnight |
